President Kalam was a confluence of scientific thinking and spirituality.

A person's birth in a simple, limited means and poor family cannot stop him from becoming great.

This seems completely true when we explain the life, personality and work of former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam. 27th July was his death anniversary, so on this occasion it was natural to remember what it was that made him a Bharat Ratna and an inspiring person.
Science and spirituality The author, along with Professor Arun Tiwari, wrote a book on the life philosophy of the then head Swami Maharaj of Swaminarayan, a spiritual religious institution of Hinduism, and the changes that took place inside the author due to him. I came across some sentences on some pages of which it is written that being a scientist and having a scientific thinking does not mean that we can progress by rejecting religion or spirituality. Addressing thousands of youth and listeners from all sections and ages, he once said that the one who has a pure heart, his character is beautiful. There is goodwill in the house where there is truth and beautiful character. The nation is run by goodwill and peace is initiated in the world. In these thoughts of Pramukh Swami, I saw the truth of the heart and experienced immense peace. Dr. Kalam was proud of being an Indian Muslim. His father was an Imam in a mosque. He used to discuss local problems with the people of the main Hindu temple and the church over tea every evening. Being brought up in this environment in his childhood, he decided that he would become a scientist. For this, he had to face many difficulties.
With his strong determination and keeping equality in all religions at the core, he became the first scientific President of India. Inspired by his basic feeling, he made Pramukh Swami his Guru and spent the last 14 years of his life under his guidance and association. After the publication of the book based on his spiritual experiences with Pramukh Swami, he breathed his last while giving a speech in a gathering of youth.
The soul of science is not that he was the first scientist to prove and propagate the unity of science and spirituality, but thinkers and scientists like Pythagoras, Galulio, Einstein, Ramanuja, Jagdish Chandra Bose, Ramchandra Francis, Collins also accepted this principle and considered it an essential part of human life. The confluence of these two elements is humanity. Science has given us a lot, but it's soul is spirituality. An example is when Dr. Kalam was discussing five chapters of his book with Swami Maharaj before writing it, then the guru said that include the sixth chapter on faith in God in it. Only then the book will be complete. Seeing science and religion and spirituality as two different forms is not only a mistake but also a denial of being two sides of the same coin.
Dr. Kalam's contribution in the field of science is unprecedented. He was called the missile man. Space science would have been incomplete without him, discoveries like Agni are important in making the country self-reliant and a strong nation. He had resolved to take the country to new heights of development by using nuclear energy. They want to make India the fourth economic power in the world by 2020.
He wanted to see India as one of the four economic superpowers.
What is scientific thinking? A person with scientific, religious and spiritual thinking will think 10 times before doing any such work whether it is harming anyone or not. On the contrary, when the thinking is that whether it benefits me or not, but harm to others is necessary, then the future of that society may see material prosperity but peace cannot be established
Once Dr. Kalam, while speaking in front of students, asked who is our enemy, many answers were received on this, but that student Snehal Thakkar said that the enemy is only poverty. Once his helicopter crashed and miraculously everyone survived. When he was given a sleeping injection in an injured state, in his dream he saw the great personalities of the world around him. They gave him the confidence of life. Referring to this incident in his book, he wrote that I dream, and only dreams give birth to those thoughts which can take us to our goal. He believed that intelligence is the only scripture which can protect us from destruction. No enemy can defeat us. If we use our intelligence to create such a web that can be penetrated, if this intelligence gets corrupted then we become corrupt and no one can stop moral degradation and falling into the pit of darkness. God is the doer and controller. When we ignore this and start giving ourselves this status, then only people like Hitler, Mussolini become autocratic and succeed in committing atrocities. India's spirituality and equal feelings towards all religions, castes, classes, sects is its identity.
